"Style control lets us push personality into locomotion while keeping it grounded. We believe players will feel it immediately."

The locomotion in their Chronicles: Medieval gameplay reveal was created with Motorica. Watch the Short, then check out the full reveal.
Chronicles: Medieval is a large-scale medieval sandbox RPG built in Unreal Engine 5. Players command armies in field battles, fight alongside their troops, and shape their path through a living world. That puts real pressure on locomotion: walks, runs, and combat transitions need personality, but they also have to stay grounded and readable in gameplay.
Style Control sits at the center of that pipeline. In Motorica, Styles shape the personality behind each locomotion performance. Teams can dial character into movement without drifting into floaty or fake motion. The result stays grounded enough that players feel it immediately, while animators keep creative control over how the performance reads on screen.
Most production teams pair that style work with dataset generation in Motion Factory, then bring the output into engine through Motorica's Unreal Engine integration.
Thank you to the team at Raw Power Games for the partnership.
